Community Survey will be Conducted Soon
If your phone rings, please pick it up and let us know what you think. We value your opinion in making Miami Beach a better place to live, work and play. In an effort to make further improvements to your city, Miami Beach will once again be conducting a citywide opinion survey of residents and businesses later this month. The results are used to make Miami Beach a better place to live, work and play.

The smart high-tech parking meter stays in your car — no more fumbling for change or even getting out of the car to pay for parking. Read

TICKET TUESDAYS
DISCOUNTS FOR SENIORS & STUDENTS will be available on the third Tuesday of every month from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the box office only. Eligible seniors are required to bring a photo ID with proof of age (over 62) and residency (utility bill, etc.); students must bring a current Miami Beach public school ID. The tickets are first-come-first serve; only two tickets per resident, per performance. Schedule of Events at the Fillmore.

MIAMIBEACH RESIDENT PROGRAM
Tickets will be made available two days prior to public on sale. Limited availability.

ADVANCED TICKET SALES:

Playbacks of televised meetings have doubled. Meetings of the development boards can now be seen at 10:00 a.m. on Thursdays throughout the month, in addition to the regular 9:00 p.m. playback times – daily except Wednesdays. Commission meetings replay at 10:00 a.m. on Saturdays and Sundays and at 9:00 p.m. on Wednesdays and Sundays.

Everyone Can Now Recycle During WasteFull Weekends
First Weekend of Every Month | MARCH 7 & 8  |  8AM – 8PM
In this new program during WasteFull Weekends (first weekend of the month), single-bin recycling is available at the North Beach dumpster location. Residents living in multi-family buildings can collect and take their recyclable trash (no sorting necessary) to the North Beach location, which also recycles electronics.

During WasteFull Weekends, you can also take your bulk trash to the two dumpster locations:

75 St + Dickens Avenue (North Beach) < RECYCLE HERE
6 ST + Meridian Avenue (South Beach)

Single-bin recycling is already available for residents living in single-family homes and buildings with eight units or less on the city service. Miami Beach curbside pick-up schedule for recycled materials is EVERY WEDNESDAY.

Residents living in multi-family buildings, you can also contact your waste hauler to initiate a recycling program for your building.

Illegal Dumping Enforced: Reward Posted

Protecting the environment is simply protecting the living space that surrounds us. The battle to protect our environment must involve a personal commitment from everyone. As illegal dumping continues to be a problem, especially in North Beach, the Miami Beach Police Department is offering a $250.00 reward to those who witness an illegal dumping incident in progress where the tip leads to an arrest.

WiFi System is Not Available Yet – Further Testing Pending

Discounts for Miami Beach Residents
While waiting for WiFi Miami Beach to get “hot,” don’t miss out on the special purchase prices for PCs, laptops and other computer equipment offered to Miami Beach residents. Lawn watering: Twice a week
12:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. and/or 5:00 p.m. – 11:59 p.m.

Odd street numbers: Wednesdays & Saturdays

Even street numbers: Thursdays & Sundays

Hand-watering with Hose/Shut-off Valve: 10 minutes on any day to save distressed or dying plants. Boat/Car Washing/Fountains/Pools: No restrictions at this time.
