Want to Paint the Miami Beach Boardwalk?

November 6, 2008 by Kristen

On Saturday, November 8, hundreds of volunteers will be painting the boardwalk through a city partnership with Hands on Miami, Inc. for their national day of service.

Miami Beach’s community and outreach team has facilitated this event with the help of the city’s property management division for several years. Volunteers from local businesses will join the effort this year, which starts at 8:00 a.m at the 27 Street and Collins Avenue boardwalk.

Interested in participating? Contact Bobbi Wald at www.handsonmiami.org. Volunteers will be processed through Hands on Miami. Further information, call Caroline DeFreze at 305.673.7000, extension 6752.
