Effective Midnight on October17, 2008 until 8pm on October 19, 2008, Indian Creek Drive northbound from 41st Street to 44th Street in Miami Beach will be closed to all traffic. All traffic northbound will be re-routed to Collins Avenue from 41st Street to 44th Street.In addition, Collins Avenue from 41st Street to 44th Street will experience a reduction in travel lanes. Motorists are encouraged to take alternative routes, such as Alton Road and Pine Tree Drive.
The City of Miami Beach will be working on an Emergency Water Main Construction Project. The Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) plan, which takes into account the scheduled detours, includes the utilization of electronic message boards that notify the public about the detour. The electronic message boards are already installed and locations are listed below. A police detail will be assisting the Contractor with the execution of the MOT plan each day.
